Just done today, taken an hour after it was finished. So happy to finally get this done. My friend and I decided that if the world was ending tomorrow that we should go on an adventure and ended up at Matthew’s Party Tattoo in Johnstown PA. She got her industrial piercing done and I finally got this. I adore it so much, it means so much to me too. I remember my mom and brother reading Calvin and Hobbes with me every day when I was little. It means even more to me now that I get more of the jokes and realize how reading the comics makes me remember what being a child is like. I knew I’d want this illustration as soon as I found it in one of my books. Don’t accept happiness, demand euphoria.

This was done 24 hours ago, on 16th May 2011 at Self Sacrifice in London, UK. They are known for their amazing quality in tattoos and I went there highly recommended by many friends. It paid off; they were sweet and I’m so happy with how it has turned out.
